“ Hi All, Been visiting Shalimar for the past 13 years, it is difficult to capture the entirety of this place in a single review. A wide range of delicacies, all of them top class. My favorites amongst the long list is the sumptuous Biriyani, exquisite harees (takes me back down the memory lanes of old city), chicken fry, Khatti dal to name a few. Homely service with the golden touch of Rasheed bhai makes it a place to visit with family and friends. I hope to introduce some of the classic delicacies with my comments in the coming weeks. ”

However was disappointed this time with food... chicken biryani had good spicy flavours but was salty and some portion of chicken and masala was burned... Chicken and mutton curry was okay but too much oily... Rotti served now is not like the same that served before... However, the staff is cooperative.. take the order and serve the food fast... No much delay... But limited food options .. Tried the mix grill platter & Mutton marag... Was okay but not recommended... ”
